Cat's Not Dead

Yikes! So, it's been a while since I've updated. Actually, there were a few times I actually had something cool to write about but the Blogger website was telling me I had to register with gmail and all this other crap that I didn't want to do. I logged in again just now and huzzah - no need to register for anything!

So what's going on you may ask? You may not even ask, but I'm gonna tell you anyway... I've been working on doing some distro trades, so I'll be adding new stuff to the cat-a-log from some rockin' cool people! Really, so many people don't even bother replying to a request for a trade, even when I add something personal to their message such as "hey, I like so-and-so release you put out" or "hey, we met at so-and-so's show not long ago". I wonder what's up with those people? People do get busy and emails do wind up getting labeled as spam, so not much you can do about that.

Also, there are plans in the works for Cat Food Money and Political Party to release a new LP from Shinobu this spring! I'm really excited about it! By the way, Shinobu's bass player, Bob, runs a cool label called Phat 'N' Phunky and he's releasing a 12" EP from my favorite Japanese band, Ging Nang Boyz! I highly suggest preordering, because everyone and their mother is gonna want to get their hands on this. Man, both of these releases are gonna be awesome...
