Dave's Not Here, Man

I wanna get drunk with these dudes again...

(starring Yamaoka MF, Noriaki, and super Taizo! where's Micchi and Naoki??)

Under the Sea

It seems like there's lots of news about new, undiscovered sea creatures being brought to the attention of the world lately. It reminds me of tons of things - most namely the Little Mermaid, by Disney - which I created a parody song in reference to in 5th grade called "Under the Seat" (about our school bus ride home) and as expected the bit in the Simpsons episode "Homer Bad Man" (around 12:20 on the DVD)... there's still so much about the world above the surface of the ocean that we don't know about!

Pinhead Gunpowder Live?!?!?!

FUCK!!!! I can't believe I actually live in close proximity to 924 Gilman now and I missed this show! Green Day has been and will always be my favorite band, but Pinhead Gunpowder has that nostalgic mysticism that I can't escape. And I just NOW find out that they had a show that I would've skipped my own mother's funeral for (my mom's still alive by the way) just to attend! FUCK!!!!!

(edit: The funeral part was an obvious exaggeration, just trying to prove how much I wanted to have gone to this show)

Eastern Europe's Favorite Cat and Mouse team!

from the Simpsons episode "Krusty Gets Kancelled". Man, I laughed so hard the first time I saw this and was old enough to know what socialism was!

Razor sharp

I've only been listening to Wu-Tang Clan for less than 3 years, but I've always thought RZA was the best member during the early days. When I listened to later stuff, like his appearances on the solo albums, I was disappointed. His voice no longer had that sharp-like-a-blade quality... it sounded very dull and jaded. His rhymes also developed a very political and philosophical nature, but his delivery was pretty boring. I think his verses on 36 chambers and the gravediggaz 1st album were his prime. Even if I don't like the beats on the later Wu-Tang albums (I prefer the low budget sound), the other members seemed to really develop their skills. RZA, what happened?

Like Hi-Standard much?

So, I'm also selling off my prized collection of Hi-Standard 7 inch records. I have the Snuff tribute compilation and "In the Brightly Moonlight" (both on Snuffy Smile), the Promo only "1995 Special Not For Sale" EP (different recordings EXCLUSIVE to this record), the split with Legitime Defonce from France (on HG Fact), the "I Don't Need Trouble Because of... Money" EP (released on guitarist Ken's label, Pizza of Death [in the early incarnation]), and the split with Wizo from Germany (on white vinyl from Hulk Records). As a bonus, I'll include the band's early demo from their days as a 4-piece on CD-R if some crazy collector wants to buy them all. Email me offers at CHRIS(at)CATFOODMONEY.ORG
